• Implemented the energy and daylight analysis modules, building both the FastAPI REST services and the React frontend from calculation logic specified by in-house architects and MEP engineers.
• Built a FastAPI microservice wrapping the EnergyPlus simulation engine and integrated it with the main backend over REST — job submission, execution and result retrieval.
• Cut simulation runtime on a representative building model from roughly 2 hours to 45 minutes by converting sequential execution into parallel runs distributed across Celery workers.
• Developed the React 18, TypeScript and Vite application with Redux Toolkit, TanStack React Query and Material UI, rendering results as interactive analysis dashboards and Three.js 3D site views.
• Used Redis as the Celery message broker and job-status store, streamed to the frontend over WebSockets; processed simulation outputs with pandas and NumPy into automated PDF reports.
